Rabbi Becky Hoffman

Rabbi Becky Hoffman believes that education is an active and engaging experience. This is what she strives to bring to her own educational experiences and to the Temple Kol Tikvah Religious School.

Rabbi Becky has extensive experience in Jewish education. She did her undergraduate work at the University of California at San Diego, majoring in Judaic Studies. She earned a Master’s Degree from the Fingerhut School of Jewish Education at the American Jewish University and rabbinical ordination from the Hebrew Union College.

Rabbi Becky has been with Temple Kol Tikvah since 2010. Under her leadership, the school has expanded its programming in both the traditional and informal environments. She implemented the Hebrew Pod program, created the monthly Chodesh retreat program, and facilitated the renowned Bnai Mitzvah Revolution (BMR) program which has become a model of family engagement on a national level. As a member of the Rabbinic Edah Fellowship, Rabbi Becky has been recognized as a change innovator and has created an educational setting which thrives on active engagement.  In 2019, Rabbi Becky received the inaugural award for Leadership in Jewish Education by the American Jewish University.

Rabbi Becky is married to Rabbi Joshua Hoffman. They have 3 children, Ethan, Arianna, and Elizabeth.
